Our Mission for this 2011 Performance Camp year is to put together some bands that can play shows together. Our nonprofit organization is looking to hire bands members this summer session so new perspective band members can concentrate, focus and rehearse for the Showcase at our performance camps

All Jam Sessions of bands are to rehearse together and then perform in the production being divided up into 2 different bands right along with

Various singers & dancers.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

Let’s Think National Recording Gospel Artist Kirk Franklin, if you have ever seen  this Gospel artist production shows this is what BLAD is looking to  somewhat do, A similar show but something so different yet unique and a production no one has ever seen before all in one big huge performance.

This Showcase will bring mass opportunities & great press to the artists & band members involve in this PROJECT. This professional exposure can lead to thousands of individual sponsorships to continue this production annually if successful

All participants selected can earn good pay thus do great shows

Being paid for big shows/ Tours and more is what your mission is.

If this is what you are looking to do, then first things first ... and that is getting some great talent musicians that want to come to Cincinnati, Ohio for a week.

All Musicians just need to pay a fee of $50.00 yes, A $50.00 fee.

BLAD will sponsor your room, board & meals so you can follow the production schedule for 1 week.  It depends on what areas of Ohio you are coming from BLAD do offer Bus services to and from the Performance Camps pick up & drop off destinations’ sites within restriction of follow camp policies.

We do ask that all participants bring one round trip bus fare and or however you might want to travel fee with you in order to return back home just in case you are not satisfied and or an emergency comes up and or you are asked to leave the camp due to sponsorships no tolerance polices other than that there will be transportation to and from the camp from our contracting Bus services. Our Buses will provide a pick up destination for the pickup sites and will leave from that site then arrive here in Cincinnati, Ohio where you will remain for the Performance camp for one week then our Bus services will depart from Cincinnati, Ohio the following Sunday, check out time will be at 12:00 pm noon and the Buses will start boarding at 12:00pm noon that following Sunday of your leaving the Performance camp.

Here is the example:

All Participants leaving the Cleveland Public School Districts will meet at the Cleveland public High school at 2212 High Street, Downtown Cleveland Ohio or the Adults departures location will be Downtown Cleveland your adult location will be the

"ROCK & ROLL HALL of FAME, Security will be at all departures where  the BLAD contracted Bus Departure and Buses will let you start boarding at 12:00 pm noon to leave for Cincinnati, Ohio You will arrive in Cincinnati, Ohio no later than 6:00 pm BLAD will have Dinner provided for you as you check into your rooms. We suggest that you pack a lunch for the departure. There will be 2 rest stops along the way then straight on into to Cincinnati, Ohio to master your networking and big fun yet..Professional Exposure

You will remain in Cincinnati, Ohio unless you want to use your own monies to leave sooner and or whatever the case may be as mention earlier in this Ad other than that… you will remain for 1 week and you will leave the camp on June 20, 2010 12:00 pm noon check out time to board our Buses that is leaving for your areas of where you are coming from. If you are not on one of our bus routes you can travel to one of the Bus sites and catch a ride and or drive in and or maintain your own way of coming to Cincinnati, Ohio whatever is best for you.

If you are selected to do the Showcase for Sponsorship /Pay after 1 week BLAD will continue to pay you hotel fees of $50 dollars per week thus your meals until you are no longer considered for the showcase performance.

If you are need to do the big concert and the end of the summer performance camps you will be paid by the sponsor to do the Ultra Back to school explosion Concert with Our special guest (TBA) National Recording artist. Our Production will open up for this National recording artist that is going to perform at our Back to school Ultra Explosion concert in Cincinnati, Ohio

This concert will take place on August 13, 2010 at the hotel locations where will hold our camps. There will be all ages performing in this production Ages from 11 all the way up 55 years or older. It’s Family Fun & Safe Entertainment! In order to be considered after 1 week of band tryouts you must be willing to follow you agreement of participating with BLAD You must show up for a sound check/ band rehearsals on time, must be reliable.

If not, the director of the BLAD performance programs can dismiss you at any time! The next day will be check out time at 12:00pm noon and you must have your own bus fare to return back to your home if you are dismissed from our tryout camps.

The kind of music you our organization production bands plays is all Covers, R&B, Rap, Gospel, and Some POP & Jazz. On the week of June 13, 2010 on first come & first serve basis the BLAD Talent agency is holding its annual band tryouts Jam sessions Auditions at our campus (hotel) locations. All band try out members will have their own rooms so they can protect their instruments; meals are also included for the week you are there. BLAD does not provide meals for unwanted guest that are not in the performance programs. BLAD wants people in our band with who shares a lot of our musical interests therefore you're more likely to have the same "vision". Keeping kids safe thus making a great musical career for themselves/yourselves. BLAD not only wants band mates who can not only play. BLAD is a zero tolerance zone. Why...SPONSORS do not tolerate!

BLAD expects all tryout new members for band members auditions to get to the shows and or practices on time, be well rehearsed, and ready to sound Check & play.

BLAD can only house 21 band auditions perspective members the first 3 weeks until the selection of the final band members are picked for sponsorship of tour and pay for the production. Make your reservation to ride our buses today from your area. For more info contact Renee Jordan at the BLAD agency for Kids nonprofit organization.

These summer Performance Programs will be filled with noting but Encouragement/Hope “Always Remember” When we partner together…Miracles can happen!

FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

ALL 2010 CAMPS CLOSED

Prospective Client inquires: I am confused; can you answer my question because I am interested?

1) Am I to be paid $50 a week or do I pay $50 a week? You are correct.

You pay BLAD $50.00 the once (1) you enroll in camp to jam this $50 you pay for your first week is for your room and board thus your meals for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for the 1 week you are there.

2) Exactly what am I going be doing? It is not so clear to me? All musicians will be placed into groups for the music that we are requesting to be played. Each group will have an area to practice in for the week. at the end of the week all groups will do a showcase to determine who will continue to remain in this performance camp in order to determine pay for doing the various showcases that will be going on the week of the Macy’s Music Fest, also there will be a heavy publicized Back to school Event that will take place here in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 13, 2010 which ends the summer performance camps with all kinds of performances. Our production will be the opening/closing act for the National Artist that is going to perform at this event. We will also be performing at a this year’s Mid-West Regional Black Family Reunion that has 35,000 and or more attendees that attends every year and other events this summer around town in Cincinnati, Ohio

3) Am I going to be teaching? No mainly jamming along with other musicians that want to be paid by our sponsors if selected to do the production,

4) Will I be performing? Yes, Only in a jammin showcase the first week you are at camp.  if we keep you another week you will be paid $60.00 per day thus room & board to continue to perfect your musical production status right along with the rest of the people who want to be a part of this summer exposure production. Who knows what other opportunities you may earn...”who knows”

5) Will I be working etc? You will work on the music showcase you are trying to get in for the week you are there in Cincinnati, Ohio... Although we do have other side jobs our participants can do with the agency in order to earn some extra monies while going through the camps showcases.

6) What date will I need to be there? You can select whatever week you want to come log on to our website and look under performance camps section and the weeks are posted you inform us.

7) And how long will I be obligated by contract to stay? All Performance camps last 1 week. This is no contract. Just an opportunity to gain full time musician employment with other artist and other musicians and other performers.  This one (1) week your there at the camps, you will meet & greet other musicians that is going to jam with you there will be 3 different rehearsal rooms for the band members to rehearse in

8) Do this invite the move of the need for any auditioning NO, once you have sign in to the performance camp you will receive a 3 to 4 series of songs to work on so when you get to Cincinnati, Ohio you all will start to play them the first day you arrive once assigned in a group than at the end of the week we will have a large crowd of public spectators come to see the bands and other performer in the camps perform. At the end of the showcase BLAD will inform you of your participation status of coming back to perform throughout the rest of the summer camp then you will continue to work on your selection of songs that your were given to work on. Then the first week BLAD brings you back to the camp you will then be paid a minimum salary per week to continue to rehearse the production all the way up to you are release and or have been selected to receive the large production that our sponsors offer you to remain in the production which will be all the way up to the ULTRA Explosion Event
